The North American Normande Association thanks you for your interest in the Normande breed.
As the official breed Association for Normande cattle in the United States the purpose of the North American Normande Association is to provide breeders of Normande cattle an official organization through which they can register their animals so as to ensure the integrity of Normande genetics in the United States. The second purpose of the North American Normande Association is to promote the Normande breed in both the dairy and beef industries. The third purpose of the North American Normande Association is to collect and record official performance data on Normande cattle so as to improve our selection and breeding programs. This purpose includes providing tangible evidence of the genetic and profitable contributions the Normande breed can make to the dairy and beef industries.
The goals of the North American Normande Association are two-fold. Our first goal is to increase the genetic influence Normande have upon the dairy and beef industries. Our second goal is to provide breeders of Normande cattle Association programs that recognize the top Normande genetics and the breeders who develop those top genetics.
Since you have an interest in the Normande breed being a member of the North American Normande Association offers you a number of benefits. The North American Normande Association offers you means by which you can officially register your Normande animals whether a bull from the United States or a bull from France sires them. We have a grading up program so you can register your half blood Normande animals that are sired by a registered purebred Normande bull. And if you would keep breeding each generation to purebred or full blood Normande bull you would have a purebred animal with the third generation. A second benefit the North American Normande Association offers you is official source of breed data so you can make sound breeding selections and decisions. A third benefit the North American Normande Association offers you is the opportunity to network with other breeders of Normande cattle. A fourth benefit of being a part of the North American Normande Association is you have a means to promote your breeding program and the genetics you have developed through it. And finally the North American Normande Association keeps you informed about what is going on within the breed here in the United States.
